This course typically involves a study tour to a partner organisation or university in the Asia-Pacific Region. The field tour has a pre-arranged schedule agreed by Griffith International, the MPH/MIntPH Program Director and the in-country partner organisation/university. The aim of the course is to enable students to develop their understanding of public health issues and practices in the Asia-Pacific region by directly hearing about, seeing and experiencing such issues and practices in-country. Participants will take part in a pre-arranged schedule of activities including country specific briefing and discussion sessions on public health issues coupled with site visits to see the issues first hand. The delivery of this course is dependent upon sufficient student interest.
