Master of Rural Medicine
The Master of Rural Medicine provides an academic structure to support training towards the specialty qualification of general practice (including rural medicine). Current programs to support this training are funded by the Commonwealth with limited positions available exceeded by demand, and directly through the specialty Colleges (of General Practice and Rural Medicine) with limited structured academic support.
QRME now offer continuing professional development opportunities for practice nurses. The workshop is very ‘hands-on’ and is focused on intensive small group learning.
