Considering Medicine Program
The Considering Medicine Program, runs seminars throughout the year. Inviting high school students to observe the clinical learning of Griffith University 3rd & 4th year Medical Students and their parents to information sessions regarding entry into Griffith University School of Medicine, the Rural Priority Access Scheme and First People’s Pathway to Medicine. In collaboration with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, QRME invites high school students interested in a Health Career to participate in the Aspire2Health program. Students will have the opportunity to look inside a working hospital, speak with practising Health Professions and Health Students.

USQ Beyond Year 10 camp
As part of the USQ Beyond Year 10 camp, QRME delivers an insight into a career in health. Suture a wound, plaster a broken limb, provide CPR to a critical patient, learn to measure a blood pressure and more during these half day sessions.
