Medical Students

QRME offers regional, rural and remote training opportunities in both General Practice and regional hospital settings. QRME supports training towards both RACGP and ACRRM Fellowships and recognises the special needs of Overseas Trained Doctors, Australian Defence Force Registrars and Queensland Health’s Rural Generalists and Bonded Scholars.

Prevocational General Practice Training Program (PGPPP) is also available through QRME. This program provides junior doctors with professional, well supervised and educational general practice placements as part of their training with duration approximately 10-12 weeks.
